Issue / Question:
I just bought a new Tacoma a couple months ago. I’m approaching the 5000 mile mark and wanted to know if that is a sufficient break in period before I start using Amsoil oil? Also, which Amsoil would you recommend? I’ve also heard you talk about the detrimental effects of ethanol in gas, but can’t remember which Amsoil product you suggest to combat those effects, and how much to use and how often? I’d also like to switch whatever other fluids I can to Amsoil products. What other fluids are there on this vehicle that I should switch and when? Lastly, I presume it’s never to early to come in and get the Ice-32 treatment for the AC system?

Answer:
5000 miles is fine for brake in. For 0-W-30, change it every 10,000 mile.

ICE -32 can be installed anytime!

We usually recommend switching your other fluids over to Amsoil at 36,000
