Issue / Question:
Last December when we had cold weather, my truck would not shift properly. This was only when starting out on a cold engine. When shifting was completed all was normal for the rest of the day. When going through shifting pattern, the transmission was hesitating going into 3rd gear. Also going into 3rd gear there was a jerk. After this completed shift pattern, the transmission was normal for the rest
of the day. I changed out the fluid to amsoil atf and got a new filter. There were no problems afterwards, but only when cold weather there is cold weather. Is it something sticking up in transmission when the weather is cold?

If you used regular Amsoil ATF that would be the issue. This application calls for the low viscosity fluid if the regular was used it may cause the issue your experiencing. A drain and fill with the low viscosity fluid may take care of it.
