Car Information:
Ford Mustang
Year: 2004
Engine Size: 3.6
Trans: Automatic

Issue / Question:
I had an intermittent miss that became more prevalent after a couple of weeks under medium acceleration. It set a code for #1 miss fire. I replaced the plugs with motorcraft plugs. The Engine light turned off by itself but still had the intermittent miss. I replaced the plug wires with new Motorcraft wires. It ran good for a couple of days now this morning it seemed to have a couple of the same misses under medium acceleration. It has not turned on the Engine light. Any thoughts on what to try next? I have run a couple of bottles of Amsoil PI through last two tanks of gas also.

Answer:
We usually need to watch the data stream under a load to pin point the problem. It may be a bad coil, Vacuum leak, injector failing and the list goes on. Let us know if you need our help
