Issue / Question:
I have an A/C problem that appears to be in the dash area behind the A/C vents. When the A/C is on, there is a squealing noise heard only when I come to a stop as though something inside is sliding and rubbing making the noise.

Answer:
What’s happening is the fan motor armature has worn out the bushing or bearing and when you stop or slow down. It shifts and causes the noise. It will most likely need an A/C blower motor to repair the problem. If you keep using it in this condition it will most likely blow a fuse and quit working all together.
