Car Information:
Ford F350
Year: 2004
Engine Size: 6.0 Diesel
Trans: Automatic

Issue / Question:
Truck will not start when hot also will not accelerate sometimes when stepping on accelerator. Have changed fuel filter and fuel pump. Starts ok when cold and when I wait about a hour. Ford says can’t find anything wrong, no codes. Thanks.

Answer:
Its usually a bad injector pressure regulator that causes this problem.
Also a leak in one of the internal oil supply lines can cause low oil supply pressure at the injectors and cause hard hot start. Most likely its going to require a injector pressure and oil supply pressure test to see which it is.
