Issue / Question:
Yesterday while diving home the vehicle almost seemed to slam forward when the gear switched into second. It almost felt like someone hit the car in the rear, lurching it forward. It also generates a squeeling noise when this occurs.

Answer:
Bruce it sounds like it had high line pressure during the 1-2 shift, electronic pressure control solenoid usually causes this problem. Either the switch is going bad or one of the input sensors may be failing. Scanning the system with our NGS scan tool will show us the Data and voltages of all the sensors so we can find a starting point, let us know if you want us to take a look at it.
