Answer:
3 things are common, one is drive axle alignment off from misaligned or worn mounts, next is worn inner tie rod sockets, or worn inner CV joints. We would need to check it to tell for sure.
Let us know if you would like for us to take a look at it 407-629-2661

My car has vibration/shimmy at 45 to 50 mph. It is very similar to systems reported by calls this past weekend, as he had a Honda Civic. In the past 6 months, I have replaced tires and brakes, including calibers, rotors, and pads. One caliber was hanging up and the vibrations continue. Unfortunately, I did not hear your recommendation for the Civic owner.

Issue / Question:
I keep my car serviced by the maintenance schedule however, my car has 186,000 miles. When do I need to consider replacing my suspension system and what is an estimated cost for good replacement parts?
Answer:
It would be a good idea to have it checked first to see if anything is needed first. Loaded struts, ball joints, sway bar bushings, link kits, tie rod ends inner & outters, Steering rack, Strut mounts. Could run over $2000.00 so it must be checked first to give even a close estimate.

Issue / Question:
Honda now uses 0-20 oil. Should I keep using their oil or Amsoil 0-30 synthetic oil?
Answer:
Use the 0-W-30 if the car is driven south of the Mason Dixon line. If you use the 0-W-20 at all we would only suggest using it during the winter months only.
