Issue / Question:
My air is not cooling as good as it used to and seems to be getting worse. When i sit at a light with the air on you can watch the rpm gauge and about every 10 seconds the rpm gauge goes down where something turns on and then goes back up to normal after it clicks off and continues to do so every 10 seconds. Can you tell me what the problem might be?
Answer:
Lets try a recharge first. Cycling on and off may be because the system is low and needs recharged. If it’s never been charged it is due.

Issue / Question:
When I start the car or when I move the selector from A/C to Heat or Heat/AC there is a clicking sound for about 5 seconds then stops. It sounds like its coming from under the driver side of the dash.
Answer:
Your are hearing the blend door motor moving the vent door. If its working properly I wouldn’t worry about it unless you notice a problem.

Issue / Question:
I had an intermittent miss that became more prevalent after a couple of weeks under medium acceleration. It set a code for #1 miss fire. I replaced the plugs with motorcraft plugs. The Engine light turned off by itself but still had the intermittent miss. I replaced the plug wires with new Motorcraft wires. It ran good for a couple of days now this morning it seemed to have a couple of the same misses under medium acceleration. It has not turned on the Engine light. Any thoughts on what to try next? I have run a couple of bottles of Amsoil PI through last two tanks of gas also.
Answer:
We usually need to watch the data stream under a load to pin point the problem. It may be a bad coil, Vacuum leak, injector failing and the list goes on. Let us know if you need our help

Issue/ Question:
Thank you for your time. Car runs great, only problem I have is the driver side window came off the track. It’s glued on the track, not able to find the right glue it is hard to find, tell me were to buy it, or what type of glue. Thank you, listening to you for a long time. Great job.
Answer:
Try the window bond urethane, (I seen it at NAPA and it will require a caulking gun) just make sure you clean the window thoroughly and wipe down with alcohol before sliding it back into the track with the window bond.
