Issue / Question:
I’m considering spark plugs such as Pulstar or bosch 4 electrode/2 electrode. Will these impact the computer info given to the engine beneficially/negatively? I’m currently getting 19/29hwy mileage. I’ve gotten up to 30.5mpg with my 05 Impala 3.5. My 06 has 49K miles on it.
Answer:
We have installed Pulstars in 3 different vehicles and the customers had us remove them and install the OEM plugs, seems every one had some kind of a complaint.

Issue / Question:
Car had a problem last week no power. Took to transmission guy and found catalytic converter plugged, had it replaced and got a PO420 code. Three days later saying catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1, cleared and replaced both up and downstream 02 sensors, getting the same code back this morning. What do I do next?
Answer:
We need to use our TECH 2 GM scan tool to monitor the catalytic converter to see if it is reaching minimum target temp. If not this will continue to keep resetting, a vacuum leak can also cause this.
