Issue / Question:
My car was overheating all the way to the red. Took it to the dealer and had thermostat replaced. Vehicle was fine for two days but began to overheat only when stopped, it doesn’t go all the way to the red but it is way above normal. What could be possible problems that would cause this condition?

Answer:
Cooling fan, coolant temp sensor, PCM computer, Fan control program for PCM… all needs to be checked with our Tech 2 scan tool.
