Car Information:
Buick LaCrosse
Year: 2005
Engine Size:
Trans: Automatic

Issue / Question:
Parking brake light came on while making a right turn. Went off on it’s own after a while. Stopping the car, setting/releasing the parking brake, shutting down the engine, made no difference. Down the road (no turns) the light goes off.
Has happened only once.
Any ideas?
An e-mail response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Answer:
The brake fluid low level sensor might be telling you the master cylinder is low. If it is, I wouldn’t fill it until the brake pads were checked. See the fluid takes the place of worn brake pads, if you fill it and need brakes, fluid will spill out of the reservoir when the caliper pistons are compressed.

If you want to swing by we will check it for you,
