Car Information:
Chevy/Cavalier LS

Trans: Automatic

Issue / Question:
My brakes started squeaking when they get wet and more pressure is needed on brake pedal to stop. The car has 50,000 miles and brake pads have not been replaced. Brakes have never squeaked in the past when they got wet. Maybe Calilpers? Pads?

Answer:
It sounds like a good front brake job with a system flush will take care of the problem. You may want to consider using a ceramic pad when doing the job. They cost a little more but you get no squeaks, squeals or dirty wheels. $196.00 Brake system flush and fill with Amsoil synthetic fluid $96.00. Let us know if we can help.
